Buying the right dog panels can be a headache and expensive if you choose the wrong ones. Here at Dog Run Panels we have the experience to guide you through this process.

The most popular type of panels are either bar panels or mesh panels, and you choice may be made based on the type of dogs who are going to use the runs, or it could be down to price. Bar dog panels are without doubt a cheaper option as the mesh are more expensive but mesh a stronger and in theory could last you longer.

So which do you choose? If you are looking for bars we would recommend the 5cm bars over the 8cm ones as there is more metal in them, which makes them stronger and more durable even though they are at a marginally higher price point. 8cm run panels should only ever be considered if you have non-aggressive dogs and if your dogs aren’t small or puppies as they can get through the gap between the panels.

Mesh panels are manufactured from solid 4mm thick metal wire which are more secure and stronger than bars, however they are more expensive and also more difficult to clean if your dogs shed hair.

Whether its 8cm or 5cm bar panels or mesh panels that you need just call us and we will help you to make the right choice of dog panels first time.
